salad Carrot Salad August 4, 2019August 4, 2019 Padmalatha Ajith Prasad Carrot Salad Carrot – 4 medium size Ground pepper – 1 tsp Lemon – 1 medium size Salt – as required Seasoning: Mustard seeds – ½ tsp Jeera -1/4 tsp Split urad dal – ½ tsp Green chilly – 1 Curry leaves – few. Method: 1. Peel the skin of the carrot, cut into thin slices, add salt,groundpepper. Mix well. 2. Squeeze juice of one lemon, add this to the carrot and give a nice mix. 3. Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds,jeera,split uraddal , curry leaves and chopped greenchilly. 4. Once the uraddal turns light brown, add this to the carrots. Mix well. 5. Serve with hot sambar rice.
