Cucumber Thairpachadi

Cucumber – 3 medium size

Curd – 5 tbsp

Shallot – 10 nos( finely chopped)

Ginger – 1’{ finely chopped}

Salt – to taste

Seasoning:

Mustard seeds – 1/4tsp

Jeera – 1/4tsp

Split Uraddal -1/2tsp

Green chilly -2 nos split

Curry Leaves – few

Oil – 1 tsp

Hing – 1/4tsp

Method:

1. Wash and cut the cucumber into small pieces.Finely chop the onion, ginger and coriander leaves,slice the green chilly.

2. Take 5 tbsp curd in a bowl ,add salt,cucumber, onion,coriander leaves and mix well.

3. Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds,jeera,split uraddal,greenchilly,hing,chopped ginger,fry for one minute and add curry leaves ,transfer this to the curd mixture.

4. Serve with Coriander Rice, Pudina Rice & Veg Biryani.

Note:

1. You can grate the cucumber and also use in this receipe

2. Simple version: Curd ,Grated cucumber,Salt , seasoning,mormilakai.
