Double Beans Kurma
Fresh double beans – 20 nos
Onion – 1
Carrot – 1
Potato – 1
Tomato – 1
Salt – to taste
Grind To Paste: (grind into fine paste)
Coconut -4 pieces
Garlic – 3pods
Cashew – 8
Ginger – 1 inch
Khuskhus -1 tsp
Coriander leaves – handful
Green chilly -2
Seasoning:
Funnel Seeds – 1tsp
Cloves – 1
Cinnamanstick – 1 inch
Bay leaf – 1
Curry leaves – few
Oil – 2 tsp
Method:
1. Heat oil in a kadai, add the seasoning item and allow them to sizzle.
2. Now add the chopped onion, potato, carrot, curry leaves and double beans.
3. Add 1/2glass of water. Mix well.
4. Close with the lid and allow the veggies to cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
5. Now add the ground mixture and mix well and let it boil for 5 minutes.
6. Switch off the flame. Serve hot with roti & chappathi.
