Murungaikai palporial (drumstick)

Rice flour           – 1 tsp

Milk                       – 3 tsp

Sugar                    – 1 tsp

Salt                         – to taste

Seasoning:

Mustard seeds    – 1/2 tsp

Jeera                         – 1/4 tsp

Split uraddal          – 1 tsp

Redchilly                  – 3

Curry leaves           – few

Hing                             – 1/4 tsp

Method:

Cut the drumstick into fingersize pieces, cook by adding salt and

water. Drain the water, transfer the cooked vegetable into a bowl.

Add milk, sugar, ricefiour into it and mix well, set aside.

Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds, jeera, uraddal, curry leaves,

split red chilly. Now add the contents from the bowl, mix well.

When the mixture thickens, switchoff the flame.

Serve with sambar rice.
