podi Pudina Podi September 12, 2020September 12, 2020 Padmalatha Ajith Prasad Pudina podi § Pudina leaves _ 1 big bunch § Red chilly _15 Nos § Uraddal _ 5 tsp. § Tamarind – 1 lemon size § Gingerly oil _ 100 ml § Salt _ to taste § Method : § Take the pudina leaves in a bowl , Wash it well. Dry it in a cloth. § Heat oil in a kadai, add uraddal & red chilly . When it changes its colour, switch off the flame. § Now in the same kadai,sauté the mint leaves and tamarind for 2 minutes. § Take all the roasted items in the mixie add salt and make into a coarse powder. You shouldnot add water. § Serve with dosa, Idly and mix with hot rice and add a 1 tsp. of ghee.
