Instant Moorkulambu Vadai

Sour curd -1 cup

Turmeric Powder -1/2 tsp

Salt – as required

Left over urad dal vada -7

Grind To Paste

Coconut – 3 tsp

Green chilly – 3 nos

Ginger – 1 inch

Bengalgram – 1 tsp

Soak for 10 minutes & make fine paste.

Coriander seeds – 1tsp

Jeera – 3/4tsp

Seasoning:

Jeera – ¾ tsp

Redchilly – 2 nos split

Curry leaves – few

Oil – 2 tsp

Method:

Whisk the curd without any iumps, set aside.

Take a bowl of hotwater, soak the left over uraddal vada for 2 minutes.Squeezeout excess water and take it in a bowl.( This step is done to soften the vada }

Now add the whisked curd, turmeric powder, salt and the ground paste. Mix well.

Now heat this mixture over gas on medium heat,when the mixture foamsup, switch off the flame.

Heat oil in a kadai, splutter jeera,curry leaves, split redchilly.Add this to the vada mixture.

Serve as evening snack.

Note:

The gas should be in medium flame, if it high then the mixture will curdle.
