Murungakeerai – 2 handful
Shallots -10
Garlic – 8
Red chilly – 3
Grated coconut – 2 tsp
Sugar -1/2tsp
Salt – to taste
Seasoning:
Mustard seeds – 1/2tsp
Jeera – 1/2tsp
Split uraddal – 1tsp
Hing – 1pinch or 1/2tsp
Oil – 1tsp
Method:
Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds, jeera,uraddal, hing and Redchilly.
Once the dal turns brown add finely chopped shallots and garlic pods.
Once they change colour, add salt, cleaned drumstick leaves, little sugar and give a mix.
Once the drumstick leaves shrinks, add grated coconut. Mix well.
Serve with Hot Rice, Sambar & Rasam.
