Valaithandu thair pachadi (Plantain stem)
Valaithandu -20cm size
Curd -4tbsp
Salt – as required
Seasoning
Jeera -1/4tsp
Split uraddal -1/2tsp
Channadal -1/4tsp
Oil -1tsp
Curry leaves -few
Green chilly -2
Method:
Finely chop the plantain stem. Sprinkle some water and salt , steam cook for 5 minutes.
I cooked in a microwave for 5 minutes.
Heat oil in a kadai, splutter mustard seeds, jeera, split urad dal, channa dal, curry leaves and split green chilly.
Add this to the cooked vegetable, now add 4 tbsp
Whisked curd.
Serve with Hot Rice & Sambar.
