- Tomato Kurma
- Tomato -3 medium size (finely chopped)
- Onion -1 finelly chopped
- Garlic -8
- Salt -to taste
- Sugar -1/2tsp
- Soak & Grind to paste:
- Kashmiri chilly -3
- Green chilly -1
- Red chilly -1
- Fried gram -1tsp
- Dhania -1/2tsp
- Coconut -4tsp
- Poppy seeds -1tsp ( khus khus)
- Turmeric powder-1/2tsp
- Seasoning:
- Jeera -1tsp
- Cinnamonstick -1/2inch
- Clove -1
- Funnel seeds -1/2tsp
- Clove -1
- Maratimokku -1
- Bay leaf -1
- Oil -3tbsp
- Procedure:

- Heat 3tbsp oil in a kadai , add the ingredients given under “Seasoning” , then add finely chopped onion, garlic, 1/2tsp sugar & salt.

- Once the onions turn translucent , add the finely chopped tomatoes.


- Saute till the tomatoes turn mushy, now add the finely ground paste.




- Add 2 glasses of water ,mix well and allow the gravy to boil till the raw smell leaves.



- Check for salt, switch off the flame and garnish with few curry leaves.

- Serve with Idly, dose, rice upma & Rice adai.
