poriyal Peerkankai karaporiyal (Ridgeguard) July 23, 2019July 23, 2019 Padmalatha Ajith Prasad Peerkankai Kara Porial (Ridgeguard Spicy Porial) Peerkankai -1 Sambar powder -1 tsp Oil -1 tsp Mustard seeds -1/4 tsp Jeera -1/4 tsp Split uraddal -1/2 tsp Red chilly -1 Curryleaves – few Water -50 ml(1/4 tumbler) Salt – to taste Method: 1)Heat a kadai with oil, add mustard seeds, let it splutter,add jeera,split uraddal and curry leaves, after one minute add the red chilly (brake into half) 2) Then add the sliced ridgeguard, sauté for 2minutes,then add sambar powder and salt. Mix well. 3)Sprinkle water (50 ml) mix well and close with the lid.After 5 minutes, check whether the water is drained and mix well. 4)Serve with hot rice, sambar and rasam.
