tiffin Boiled Rice Adai September 11, 2019September 10, 2020 Padmalatha Ajith Prasad Boiled Rice Adai Idly rice – 1 cup ( ½ kg ) Salt – as required Oil – as required Jeera – 1 tsp. Onion – 2 finely chopped Pepper – 1 tsp. ( coarsely powder ) Coriander leaves -1 bunch ,finely chopped Curry leaves – few Method: 1. Soak idly rice for onehour. Grind into a fine watery batter by adding salt as shown in the picture 2. Heat 3tsp oil in a heavy bottom vessel and pour the batter to it .Stir contionously, low flame. 3. So that it comes to a thick paste likeconsistancy. 4. Now add finely chopped coriander leaves,finely chopped onions,jeera,crushed pepper. 5. Mix well and make large balls as shown in picture. 6. Press into round shape adai. 7. Heat a tawa, transfer this to the tawa, cook both the sides by adding little by little oil. 8. Serve with jaggery, any chutney, any pickle. Note: 1. Adding onion is optional.Enjoy eeee soft rice adai.
