Vendakai                                    – 1/4kg

Shallots                                       – 10 nos

Garlic                                          – 2 pods

Curd                                            – 1 tsp

Turmeric Powder                        – 1/4 tsp

Red chilly powder                        – 1/2 tsp

Oil                                                – 3 tbsp

Salt                                                – to taste

Grind  into  Coarse paste :

Coconut                           – 5 pieces 

Shallots                             -2

Jeera                                  – 1/2tsp

Funnel seeds                     – 1/4tsp ( optional )

Seasoning:

     Anjanadappa

Mustard seeds                     – 1/2tsp

Jeera                                    – 1/2tsp

Split uraddal                        – 1tsp

Curry leaves                         – few

Hing                                    – 1/2tsp

Method :

1. Clean and chopped vendakai as shown  in the picture. Heat  oil in a kadai,

  splutter mustard seeds,jeera,uraddal, Curry leaves ,Hing.

2. Add chopped  shallots, saute for one minute, add chopped vendakai. Mix well.

3. Add salt. turmeric , chilly powder & coarse paste. Give a nice stir.

4. Now add one tsp curd, mix well. After 2 minues switchoff the gas .Serve with Hot rice, Rasam & Curd.
